Stock Technical Analysis Course – Advantages of Charting

Monday, March 8th, 2010

A stock technical analysis course teaches that if you’re able to make it through several years of commodity trading you’ll see all the price patterns out there ( look at that again ). The rest is simply a repeat over and over again of the various patterns . When it comes to trading in commodities one interesting thing when some markets are on the rise, and other markets are bottomed out , (the end of bear markets) you can tell yourself “O.K. is it their turn to move up next .” Sure enough , they eventually start the cycle over , from the bottom up to the top  and of course, from the top down to the bottom . Each market will stop going down in price and they’ll move sideways for some time and then advance in price . In commodities the bear market always comes to an end , and bull markets always end too .

What I’ve just talked about shows an approach that is long term and philosophical to analysis of the market prices. Basically , if in the last year or two there’s been a downturn in market prices, the bear market is coming to an end , and at some point all commodities will go back up . You don’t even need a chart to realize this . However, when you look at charts by using a stock technical analysis course, it’s easy to see the bear market coming to an end and the trader can take a position .

It is impossible to trade on the assumption that by being aware of general movements of prices by reading this in the news or just thinking about those movements, that it will allow you over time to assume price movements . In most cases this approach won’t allow you to restrict any limits on what you can lose once the market has been entered , due to an adverse price movement or once profits have accumulated . Most people in an up market that don’t use charting , for example, are caught by surprise by a bear crack and/or a major bear trend evolving . It’s essential to have chart analysis to protect profits and avoid losses !  Enroll in a technical analysis course before you get involved with money.
